Even though I know it’s unscientific,
maybe even a made-up game of comfort,
still, there are people — like me — who want to believe.

And what we believe
is often just what we need to believe.
I know — deep down — it might not be real.
But this world is harsh,
and there’s no real escape.
 
Maybe believing in star signs
is just my way of making sense of misfortune —
giving it logic, letting it feel seen, understood.
Maybe it’s the last emotional thread holding me together.
 
Maybe after Mercury retrograde
everything really will get better.
It’s just one more hope.
